Putting Yourself on The Line

A lot has been written about the relationship between success in network marketing and personal development. In a nutshell, for most people, network marketing forces you to put yourself on the line–you answer to yourself, you set your own goals, you are completely responsible for your own success–you can’t blame anyone or anything else if you don’t succeed.
With three months under my belt, I am finding this to be incredibly true. I have long used a “growth edge” philosophy–being on my growth edge physically, intellectually, spiritually, and emotionally. Enlyten is sharpening all my growth edges.
The products are all health-oriented. If I’m going to promote them with conviction and integrity, I need to embrace them and the healthiest lifestyle possible. I’ve changed behaviors as a result.
Intellectually, I’ve had to learn a whole new industry, and continue to learn about the industry, the company, and the products. It’s a fascinating learning curve, and there is more to come!
Emotionally, I’ve stretched. Initially, I had to break down any preconceptions I had about network marketing. And now, instead of working as a solo consultant, I’m now working with my upline and downline. The team effort works best when you genuinely care about people’s success.
Spiritually, I’ve searched for a deeper meaning into what this new career will do for me and my community. Empowering people I care about to have financial independence is really powerful. Being able to earn enough to ultimately start a foundation is my end goal. Talk about powerful!
Whatever philosophy guides you, network marketing can help you take your life mission and goals further.
