In the 1990s, the most successful vitamins and nutritional supplement products were launched through network marketing or consumer to consumer sales. The reason consumer to consumer selling is especially well-suited to wellness products are that they really need to be sold by people who can explain them. Consumer to consumer selling is typically done person to person by someone who is also a user of the product unlike a typical salesperson they are educated, enthusiastic, and have experience using products they sell.
